For flooring dealers, installers & contractors
Quote the job before you leave the living room.
Chalkline is a CRM that knows what a flooring job actually is. Measure the rooms, figure the waste, price materials and labor, and send the quote from your phone, then schedule the crew and invoice it from the same place.
One job, start to finish
Follow the job from tape measure to paid.
Here’s how one install runs through Chalkline: the same four steps you already do, minus the paperwork shuffle.
Step 01 · On site
Measure & quote in the living room
Walk the rooms with your phone. Punch in dimensions, pick the product, and the cut comes off the roll with waste figured, materials and labor as separate lines. No napkin math in the truck.
Step 02 · Same day
Win the job
Send the quote by text or email on the spot. The customer opens it on their phone, sees the price line by line, and approves with a tap. Ask for the deposit right on the approval: half down before the roll is cut.
Step 03 · The board
Schedule the crew
Won jobs land on the calendar, waiting for a day and a crew. Assign it, and everyone sees the address, the material, and the scope. No 6 a.m. calls about who’s going where.
Step 04 · Get paid
Invoice & get paid
The quote becomes the invoice, deposit already applied. Send it when the last transition strip goes in, and watch the balance clear without opening a spreadsheet.
The gap in the middle
Built for flooring, not for everyone.
Small flooring shops get two choices today: generic field-service apps that don’t know the trade, or dealer ERPs priced for ten trucks. Chalkline sits in the gap on purpose.
Generic field-service apps
Solid tools for lawns and furnaces. But to them, a flooring job is just a “job.”
- No rooms, no rolls, no seams
- Waste math stays on the back of an envelope
- Your work bent to fit someone else’s forms

Straight answers
Questions owners actually ask.
Does it work on my phone?
That’s where it’s built to live. Quote in the customer’s living room, check the schedule from the truck, send an invoice from the tailgate. It runs in the browser: nothing to install, nothing to update.
I’m not a computer person. How long until I’m quoting?
If you can send a text, you can build a quote. Enter the rooms and pick the materials. The math is done for you. Your first quote should take minutes, not a weekend of setup.
Can I bring my customer list with me?
Yes. Export a spreadsheet from wherever your customers live now: another app, Excel, even a box of index cards you type up once. Founding customers get their list loaded for them.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
It’s yours. Export customers, quotes, jobs, and invoices as spreadsheets any time. If you cancel, take it all with you. No hostage-taking.
Does it handle hard surface, or just carpet?
Both. Roll goods get cut-and-seam math from the roll width. Plank and tile get square footage with the waste percentage you choose. Wood, laminate, vinyl, carpet: a floor is a floor.
What does “early access” actually mean?
We’re onboarding founding customers in small groups so every shop gets set up properly. Create your account and we’ll get your shop going. Your price is locked at early-access rates for as long as you’re a Chalkline customer.
